New ARM and summits April 1st !

The new ARM is online and available here .
Keen eyes will notice some of the summit names have changed. This is to bring the list inline with the listsofjohn website.
As of April 1st the W2 Association will list all of the summits in NY & NJ down to 500' prom.

ARM vr1.3 has been submitted to SOTA MT

I sent in the new ARM and associated spreadsheets into the SOTA MT this morning. This will add 592 new summits to the W2 Call Area. Hopefully these will be available from March 1st.

W2/GA-003 - Wrong Lat/ Long showing in Google Maps

The link for Whiteface in Google maps is pointing to the wrong location. This will be corrected on the next release of the ARM.

W2 ARM vr 1.1 Online !

The new ARM will be online here shortly.
All the qualifying NJ summits are included. Take note, some of the NJ summits look like they are on or very near to private land. Make sure you have permission to activate !

Also, GA-057 and GC-014 have been corrected.

W2/GA-057 - Rock Pond Mountain - wrong location

This summit location is listed incorrectly in the ARM and database. This also will be corrected in the new ARM.

This summit should be listed as 4 points not 6 points.
This will be corrected in the new release of the ARM.

We are currently working on the ARM, we hope to add New Jersey to the manual. This would only leave the summits below P1000' left in New York. At some point we will get to that mammoth task.

Although I think the main SOTA website is the place to go for information regarding Summits on the Air. It's nice to have a placeholder for the W2 Association.
